Opening an art bookstore….

Big news! Blair Saxon-Hill and I are opening a bookstore in Portland dedicated to modern and contemporary artists. It’s called Monograph Bookwerks and will be at NE 27th and Alberta. May 5 will be our first day of business. Super excited. We’ll also carry some architecture, design, photography, artist biographies and art criticism titles. Plus studio pottery and mid-century ceramics, fine objects and some artworks. Stay tuned for more info and I’ll post some photos here soon as well. The store webpage is at www.monographbookwerks.com. Looking forward to spending my days hanging out with art books.

Portland2010
Getting ready (and excited) for Portland2010. Various venues will be used around the city for this new version of the biennial. My exhibition will be at the Templeton Building (a total of 8 artists/groups will be showing in the building) and the opening is on March 20. More info here. I have about 3,500 square feet of space to use so it should be interesting. I’ll keep you posted as things develop, and perhaps post some photos of the installation in progress.
